Dr. Ralf Held took office in the Senior Management at Mediengruppe Pressedruck in 2012. Prior to this appointment, he was Vice President at E.ON. In both companies, his responsibility was focused on Business Development and Post Acquisition Integration. In this capacity, Ralf Held headed several billion Euro acquisition deals and he is regarded as a leading expert in the field of PMI. Furthermore, he is CEO and founder of the Gesellschaft für Post Merger Integration e. V.
Alexandra N. Crusen is a seasoned mergers and acquisition as well as post-merger integration expert with more than 15 years’ experience. She is director of Integration Management at Robert Bosch GmbH and member of the board of Gesellschaft für Post Merger Integration (GfPMI). Before that, she was head of M&A/PMI at Dekra SE and worked as M&A consultant in investment banking. From her background Alexandra Crusen is a lawyer and studied organizational psychology.

Olaf Mackert is the Design Thinking Coach for the workshop. He is Director Digital Design Studio in the Digitalization department at Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co KG.
He is responsible for improving the user experiences and change the perception of an whole organization towards an Innovator through the introduction of Design Thinking, Agile and UX Methods.
Olaf has more than 10 years professional experience with Innovation Management, Transformation Management, Design Thinking, latest technologies and Routines in facilitation of creative and innovative workshops with clients and senior peers.
Olaf is also senior lecturer at the University of Stuttgart.
Michael Horn has joined SNP in June 2011. Since then he has lead various transformation projects, some with significant complexity. Currently he is responsible as a Sales Manager for a group of strategic accounts in Germany.
With his past experience in process design and ERP implementations combined with the understanding of the capabilities of the SNP software, he is well equipped to conceptualize and plan complex transformation projects.
Before he joined SNP, he was engaged in various roles in sales and delivery for large consultancies in national and international assignments.
Dominik Gärtner joined SNP in 2016 as Executive Assistant to the CEO. In his function, he supports the board in M&A activities with a focus on corporate venture capital.
Prior to SNP AG, Mr. Gärtner worked for a IT M&A advisory, focused on small cap technology transactions and is founding member of the taskforce “IT for M&A”, initiated in 2013 within the German M&A association (BM&A e.V.).
Dr. Karl Michael Popp is senior director of mergers and acquisitions in the Global Business Development and Ecosystem team at SAP SE. He is responsible for holistic due diligence of acquisition targets and post merger integration of acquired companies. Over the course of nine years M&A experience, he has been involved in over two dozen merger integrations of companies like hybris, Sybase, datango, ticketWeb, MaXware, Plat.ONE and others.
He has authored six books and edited three books on the software business, software ecosystems, mergers and acquisitions and commercial use of open source. He is also involved in the creation of an online PMI training.
He is member of the german M&A association and board member of the german association for post merger integration (GFPMI.DE).
In his new book he shares his profound knowledge of the software industry in mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Midaxo, Karim worked 14 years for Philips, in various senior management roles. He has been an entrepreneur co-starting a business focused on last-mile consumer distribution, has worked as an executive in a telecom start-up, was a supply chain management consultant for Ernst & Young, and started his career with Lufthansa.
Clemens Siegfanz is HR M&A Director at SAP SE. He has been responsible for several large HR Integration like SuccessFactors or hybris into SAP SE. He was also involved in several acquisitions like MaxWare, TicketWeb or Secude. Besides the integration of HR core programs his focus shifts more to Change and Business Transformation in the context of M&A. Clemens holds a master in International Management Consulting and is a certified program manager.
Dr. Johannes Gerds is a leading PMI author and consultant in Germany. In his 20-year career he was a partner at Deloitte, where he spearheaded the Post-merger integration department. In addition to his advisory activities Dr. Gerds is author of numerous publications,
including the renowned book Post-merger Integration: success by integration excellence. In 2011, Dr. Gerds founded the Gesellschaft für Post Merger Integration e. V.
Ralf Meyer is founder, business consultant and business angel at Synomic GmbH in Walldorf. 15 years in management positions at global software players Software AG and SAP and another 15 years working for and with enterprise software startups from Germany, Israel, Japan, UK and the USA give him a broad and deep software industry expertise. Ralf was involved in a number of due diligences, (VC) funding rounds, asset deals, and M&A. His special interest is in Software Ecosystems and Business Models. He published together with other experts a growing number of books and is co-founder of the non-profit SAP International Partner Association.
